For my independent project of my third year of university I am looking into the effects of scenic art in historic locations, specifically for TV and film, and studio vs location. For my practical element I am making a recreation of a local historic location, to replicate the advantages and disadvantages of recreating in a studio setting. For this I have chosen to recreate a window alcove of Lord Bute's Bedroom in Cardiff Castle. The finished set will be used in collaboration with other elements built and acted by my production team to create a short film.
